For the DG965RY desktop board, is there an Intel Management Engine driver available for Windows 10? Windows 10 actually loads and runs okay on this platform, but the PCI Simple Communications Controller driver is missing. Thanks.

That board is from 2006, and is not supported on Windows 10. What drivers there are can be found here under downloads and software:

Is there a reason you need the ME?

Also, any processor and graphics are not supported under Windows 10.

No, no real reason to need the ME except to load the PCI Simple Communication driver. I'm surprised someone hasn't updated the Vista ME or something similar. Or, is there some other work-around for the PCI Simple Communicaton driver? Thanks for replying. ..........dave

Just ignore the error in the Device Manager.

This "Simple Communications Controller" is the interface to the Intel Management Engine (ME). Unless you need support for communication with the ME, just ignore this missing driver. It doesn't hurt anything having this left unresolved.

Right, I agree. It's a minor aggravation. Thanks for replying. .........dave
