First of all, you cannot "turn off" the splash screen. It is always displayed.
Secondly, this board is old enough that there is no support for Fast Boot, so don't worry about looking for that.
Now, answer these questions,
- Can you hit the F2 key at the splash screen and get into BIOS Setup?
- If you don't hit any keys, does your O/S boot?
So what you are saying is nothing is wrong; you just don't like splash screens. Well, if you stick with this board, you are stuck with it (pun intended).
