that allow users to set an HDD password in BIOS?

Thanks for the list of motherboards that support HDD passwords.
I noticed that many of the boards have multiple SATA ports.
Could I set a HDD password for multiple hard drives, or just one?
For example: one hard drive has an OS, and a second hard drive is
used for storage - could I set a password for each?

The password set via BIOS on the HDD/SSD is always for the boot drive only.
However, there are 3rd party apps that can lock, encrypt, password protect, etc.. any drive you want.

Hello Tu111, the password need to be at least 2 characters and at most 8 characters long.
