INTEL DX58SO2 - skull-led on chip defect ?

Jump to solution

Hi intel-profis

On my DX58SO2 mainboard the blue-led-shining skull at upper left chip does not work since yesterday.

Is there a way to replace this ? If yes, how ? ( order ? )

If not, what is the actual intel-product with nearly same or better spec. ?

Thanks for any help

Ps: how long is the warranty/garantie for this mainboard?

Hello Beat,

We regret to inform that this LED can not be replaced reason why we recommend making sure you have the latest BIOS and check the warranty options to replace the board.

- You can check the specifications for the DX79SR which is a extreme motherboard also , at the following website :

http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/db-dx79sr Support for the Intel® Desktop Board DX79SR

- Warranty period is good for three years from the date of purchase.
