Hi everyone. Intel DG45ID motherboard supports dual video out, my question is.......
Is it possible to use a HDMI to RCA (link: http://www.amazon.com/Composite-Video-Converter-Adapter-Supporting/dp/B009A4Q1WI Amazon.com: MINI HDMI to 3RCA CVBS Composite Video AV Converter Adapter Supporting PAL/NTSC for TV PS3 VHS VCR DVD: Electronics) and connect it to the HDMI port on DG45ID. Basically trying to dual output to the standard DVI port as well as the HDMI port. Will this work? Basically I am trying to connect a CRT TV to this motherboard.......Anything that is displayed on the DVI LCD monitor should also be displayed on the TV.......
Will this work, or will the HDMI port not detect the Analog CRT TV and not work? Please advise. I'am planning on buying a GT630 Graphics card, and if the HDMI2AVI converter is successful, deploy the same on the GT630 card. And if this configuration will work, will there be a delay??
Is it possible to relay 3D games this way to the CRT TV??
And in the product documentation it says "DDC2B compliant interface with Advanced Digital Display 2 card or Media Expansion Card (ADD2/MEC), support for TV-out/TV-in and DVI digital display connections"......so does that mean a HDMI to 3RCA cable is sufficient (no need for a converter) since it supports TV-out??
As always happens when using adapters or converters, they may or may not work, depending specially on the quality of the converter being used. So, you would need to test this configuration to see if this would work.

Ok...Thanks for the reply....I'am gonna test this maybe next week and will get back to you. In the mean time.....the DG45ID motherboard manual says, and I quote "DDC2B compliant interface with Advanced Digital Display 2 card or Media Expansion Card (ADD2/MEC), support for TV-out/TV-in and DVI digital display connections".....So does that mean, I don't need a converter??? I can just use a HDMI-to-RCA cable or DVI-to-RCA cable right (since it says it supports TV-out)...am I right here??? Or do I still need a converter?
PS: thanks for the prompt and fast reply!
TV-out will be supported on the interfaces that the motherboard has such as HDMI or DVI-I ports. The information on the technical product specification (TPS) of the motherboard does not imply that this can be converter to RCA.
Then, an active converter would be required, still this is not guaranteed to work.
