Hi, I Have 2 Brand New Intel Motherboard DH67BL and a problem.

I Put a Intel Pentium G2120 and 2 bank of Kingston KVR1333DS8N9H 2GB on one of this motherboard, plug the 450W Power Supply and make all connection for the USB front panel and button.

When i try to power on i hear 3 long beeps repeating. I know it's a memory problem and i try to remove a bank, move the ram in all 4 slot, change the ram with a 1066MHz, add a video Card but nothing work.

I Changed motherboard and i tried all i wrote before and i had the same result: Nothing work.

I tested the RAM and the Video Card in a other machine and seems to work fine.

The only thing i can't check is the proc.

I double check the pins on processor socket and the processor and seems to be ok.

Am I unlucky? I made some mistake? please help me.

Thanks.m,

Hello LaMax,

I would like to let you know that this motherboard and processor combination may be compatible. http://processormatch.intel.com/compdb/SearchResult.aspx?ProcNbr=G2120&BoardName=DH67BL%20&Lang=en-U... http://processormatch.intel.com/compdb/SearchResult.aspx?ProcNbr=G2120&BoardName=DH67BL%20&Lang=en-U...

Please provide me the AA# and serial number of your motherboards and the Spec number of your processor.

Regards.

Hi, this is the data from my motherboard:

AA G10189-209 and serial number is BTBL13600BUU

Here's the Spec number of the processor: SR0UF and product code BX80637G2120

How I can check the bios version? I Have to buy an other Processor? Thanks

LaMax,

The original BIOS version on this motherboard with AA# G10189-209 is the 0119. According to the compatibility list I provided you and in order to use the Intel Pentium G2120 processor, you would need to update the BIOS to version 0150 using a fully compatible processor.

The best option for you at this point is exchange the processor for a fully compatible one http://processormatch.intel.com/compdb/SearchResult.aspx?BoardName=DH67BL&Lang=en-US http://processormatch.intel.com/compdb/SearchResult.aspx?BoardName=DH67BL&Lang=en-US or get a fully compatible motherboad to your G2120 processor http://processormatch.intel.com/compdb/SearchResult.aspx?ProcNbr=G2120&Lang=en-US http://processormatch.intel.com/compdb/SearchResult.aspx?ProcNbr=G2120&Lang=en-US

Regards.
