Intel DH77DF and PCI-E TV Tuner

Jump to solution

Hello,

I have a Hauppauge HVR-1200 TV Tuner which has been working happily in an Intel DH67CF motherboard for over a year.

Last week I swapped my DH67CF motherboard for a brand new DH77DF board and since then the TV Tuner has stopped working and is not detected in the BIOS. I upgraded the board to the latest BIOS 0104 and cleared the CMOS but still have the problem.

I notice other people are having the same problem.

I also notice that the problem was supposedly fixed in a previous BIOS release

Is there a proper fix?

Regards,

GT

You may want to try 0106:

Try to flash your motherboard with latest bios and you will see the card appearing again. At least that solved the problem with my Dz77bh-55k if not then try to put it into another PCIe port.

there are only so many times you can flash your board to the latest BIOS before you realise you are wasting your time...

No, there is no solution. U can try to switch legacy boot ON and all other quick boot features off, this helps me with my HD7750, but some other PCIe x1 devices didn't work in the PCIe x16 slot. There is no other PCIe slot to try, because this board has mITX form factor. Strange, all these devices did work without any problems in my ASUS or GIGABYTE board. Why not with my Intel board?

tbs6928ci DOES NOT work with this board too !

bios 0104

you may wait for the next bios update an try again - thats what i do since april.

the better solution will be to put it in the shredder.

Just tried BIOS 0105 which proclaims..."Fixed issue where TV tuner card is not recognized"

Doesn't fix it for me I'm afraid...

Hi GT,

So you are running 0106 on your DH77DF?

Does the onboard ethernet adapter work?

I'm pretty sure the answer is: 'Yes' but I still have to ask

Cause when I flash 0106 the network adapter stops working..
