I've been getting this error now for a few weeks and the same happens with any version of windows.
Build 18363.815, Build 19041.208 or Build 19624.1000.
After a few experiments I found out that this error goes away if I uninstall Intel RST 14.8.16.1063 which is the latest available for the DELL XPS. 8700.
If I try installing any newer version of RST it says platform not supported.
Keep in mind that the same RST driver 14.8.16.1063 has been installed for over 2 years and DSA never complained before with any windows version,
DSA stated that RST was up to date before this scan error started to happen a few weeks ago.
I also did a clean install of windows and downloaded the most recent version of DSA, but the problem persisted.
Something has changed in the DSA scan that causes this red error message to occurr.
The machine is a Dell XPS 8700, with 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 2TB HDD, NVIDIA GT1030 Video Card.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing DSA numerous times to no avail. I've cleared system cache and browser cache. I've tried Firefox, Edge, Chrome and Opera as browsers, stiil doesn't work. I've made sure Intel DSA is let through my firewall software.
I've been running this software a number of years and have had no problems until the last few weeks.
Very frustrating. Hope this is fixed soon.

@TMill40,
I just installed the latest Intel DSA 20.5.20.3 that was available today, but it still fails the scan the same way.

Same for me, DSA 20.5.20.3 still fails despite program removal with DSAUninstaller, cold restart,
fresh download and reinstall.
System details,
Dell Inspiron 2350 All-in-One
W10 Pro (build 18363), 64-bit; fully patched and updated
8GB RAM, 1000GB Crucial CT1000MX500SSD1 SSD
Default Browser - New MS Edge (Chromium based), Version 81.0.416.72 (Official build) (64-bit), fully updated
Also tried in Firefox - exactly the same behaviour and Chrome which did nothing. (Both fully up to date.)

I have the same problem with DSA 20.5.20.3
In the browser's console I see that it successfully pings and finds my local port:
http://127.0.0.1:28385/intel/v1.0/ping?id=100&jsver=20.4.17.1
Response headers:

Access-Control-Allow-Methods: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, OPTIONS
Date: Tue, 26 May 2020 11:11:53 GMT
The response is JSON:
{"id":200}
But afterwards the actual call fails:

The DSA worked for me about 2-3 months ago. But then suddenly it stopped working. I also tested install, uninstall, different browsers, etc.
I use Windows 10 Pro 1909 18363.836 on Lenovo E590.
