Intel® Desktop Board DX48BT2 No POST

Jump to solution

Bought the board several years ago finally got around to building it. Board will not post (no video). Have breadboard down to compatible cpu (q9650) and one ddr3 4GB dimm 1333 in correct channel, gpu and monitor. (3 beeps with no memory and no beeps with memory). Board goes into reset cycle and will not post (jumper 1-2) The manual says up to 8 GB supported 2 GB dimms. Is the problem caused by the larger memory stick? Tried normal troubleshooting and nothing works. Welcome any help please? Thanks!

OK was memory error caused by unsupported DIMM configuration 2x4GB. The older board only supports 4x2GB so close this and thanks.

That is a 2008 model. Battery life is about 5 years.
