Intel PRO Network Connections LAN Driver

Hi

I'm trying to upgrade my Network adapter driver on my DH67GD Desktop board.

I download PROWin7_64_v16.8.1.exe and run through the update, but device manager shows my driver version as 11.15.12.0 rather than 11.15.16.0. If I rerun the Intel Driver Update Utility it tells me that the newer driver is available.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Manually remove the old driver in device manager and then run the new driver setup.

Thanks

I've tried that, but it didn't help.

I also disabled real-time protection in Microsoft Security Essentials before uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but that didn't work either.

Did you also uninstall the Intel(R) Network Connections program from Win7 Uninstall or change a program?

Check for older installs of the Intel LAN program.
