Hello, i have an ASUS Sabertooth X79 motherboard and 4 SATA drives.
I create a RAID 10 with this dirver (in subject)
On the display:
RAID 10 ( 0+1)
It's confuse me. Now:
a) its RAID 1+0 (RAID 10) or
b) it's RAID 0+1 (RAID 01)
Thanks to reply.

A RAID 10 array uses four hard drives to create a combination of RAID levels 0 and 1. It is a striped set whose
members are each a mirrored set. Therefore a RAID10 should display as 0 + 1.

Sorry, i'm not too good in English Language.
It's mean:
a) first stripe and mirror after stripe (01) or
b) first mirror and stripe after mirror (10)?
four drive:
a, b,c,d
then
raid10:
x= a mirror b
y = c mirror d
10 = x stripe y
raid 01:
x= a stripe b
y= c stripe d
01 = x mirror y
what system on the controller?

The link below explains the differences between the two specific RAIDs:
http://www.thegeekstuff.com/2011/10/raid10-vs-raid01/ RAID 10 Vs RAID 01 (RAID 1+0 Vs RAID 0+1) Explained with Diagram
RAID 10 "1+0" is a bit better. Since it's a bit more fault tolerance

Can you send us a picture of the RAID status to make sure we are providing the correct information?
Which software are you using? Intel® Rapid Storage Technology?

The RAID you have, first striped all hard drives and then created a mirrored.
The main difference is the fault tolerance level. On a RAID 10, fault tolerance is more, creating the mirror after the striped, will allow you to back up all the information. If a disk fails you will be able to boot up and replace the disk and rebuilt the RAID

"first striped all hard drives and then created a mirrored. " raid 01
" On a RAID 10, fault tolerance is more, creating the mirror after the striped" it's not 10, it's 01.....
"10 fault tolerance is more" it's ok, but "creating the mirror after the striped" is 01.
