Is there an eDP 40 pin connector specification available for the DQ77KB?

Hi,

I am trying to find the physical connector specification of the eDP connector used on the DQ77KB.

Table 32 in the technical manual states "40 pin eDP Connector" and gives the electrical pin out. What is the manufactuer/part no of that connector? Is anyone aware of any off the shelf open ended cables or know of a supplier for made up cables for this board?

Best regards,

David.

Please can you clarify.

Yes it is the Aces 88441-40. Quadrangle Products sells an open ended cable. It is SGC1038-24. It works for DH61AG, DQ77KB, DN2800MT, and D2500CC. http://quadrangleproducts.com/product.cfm?p=1712&c=45 420-00068 | Quadrangle Products

Hello:

The 40p eDP connector on the DN2800MT was originally designed by I-PEX and replicated by ACES and Starconn. The I-PEX cable side connector is called the Cabline-II-HT1 part number 20142-040U-20F and the SMT connector on the DN2800MT is I-PEX part number 20143-040E-21F. The eDP Display cable side Connector can be either a 30p or a 40p from I-PEX (display vender selected) called the Cabline-VS part number 20453-030T-11 and the SMT connector on the display assembly is part number 20455-030E-12. I made a few eDP-to-eDP cables for the Intel DQ77KB board to a CHIMEI LCD Panel with a 30-pin I-PEX 20453-030T-01 connector in the LCD panel end.

The cables are build from the pin assignment stated in the Intel DQ77KB manual. They work fine with another motherboard from ASUS (Q87T). But when I connect the LCD to the eDP port of a Intel DQ77KB board using the same cable as I used a second ago with the ASUS Q87T board theres no video on the LCD panel. Backlight turns on and off though.

I've earlier posted here in the forum about a minor error in the Intel DQ77KB documentation where it says the default jumper option for vcc at the lvds/edp ports is 3.3v which isn't true. Perhaps there more errors in the documentation that I didn't catch. Did someone actually get the eDP port to work?

I've bought 2 sample cables from the store "eDP-LVDS-cable" is advertising aboit in this thread. Apparently they mirrored the 30-pin end and didn't connect the AUX channel through.
