Monitor Displays "No Signal" even CPU/M.Board is Running

Dear Forum,

My Monitor is AOC LED monitor, it works fine till date but from few days my monitor shows "No Signal" after 15-20min of working. RAM/Hard Disk and Monitor working fine but after sometimes CPU is neither restart or shut down nor showing processor blinking light, it require to power off from source. Few days before I installed 2GM DDR2 RAM in addition to 1GB DDR2 RAM, I tried replacing each other and removing one by one. I also tried to clean CPU by blowing air to make dust free. Also I replaced new VGA cable by old one. Monitor works fine but he problem persist after so many efforts.

Is it due to CMOS battery or Motherboard problem..??

Please suggest the way forward to solve this problem.

Regards,

Ashok

Ashok, thanks for the information.

The current BIOS version of your board is 0050. There are 7 newer versions that we can try to install in order to find out if this could solve the issue.

It is important to tell you that going straight to the latest version shouldn't be a problem, technically speaking. However based on experience, there is always chance.

I would recommend you to install the at least 3 BIOS version and then check if the behavior persisted.

You can also check the BIOS Update Release Notes at this URL. You will be able to see the fixes and features included on each version. http://downloadmirror.intel.com/17241/eng/PE_0069_ReleaseNotes.pdf http://downloadmirror.intel.com/17241/eng/PE_0069_ReleaseNotes.pdf

These are some important versions you could flash on your system.

We provide an application that is called Intel® Processor Diagnostics Tool. You can run this application and it will diagnose the processor components and will generate a result. I suggest you running this in to discard any possible issues with the processor (hardware).

Please use minimum configuration while running this test

You can get this from the following link:

If operating system is 32 bit based: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19791&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%208%... Intel® Download Center

If operating system is 64 bit based: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19792&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%208%... Intel® Download Center
