I'm looking to buy a new Ivy Bridge CPU along with a motherboard that supports 3 displays simultaneously. I've read that the new HD 4000 can drive 3 displays assuming the motherboard supports it, but I'm having a really difficult time locating one that does. I've read the manual for the Intel DH77EB & it says:
"If using a processor with integrated graphics, the board will support only two of the
integrated graphics interfaces simultaneously: DisplayPort, DVI-I, HDMI"
I also looked at the Intel DQ77MK which has DisplayPort + 2 DVI's & the manual for this board does not have that statement so is it safe to assume that this board can?
Are there any other Intel boads that can?
Ideally I'd like to find a board that has an HDMI port but if there aren't any that can do 3 displays I will get the DQ77MK & a DP to HDMI adapter.
The DZ68BC Does support 3 Displays while using Ivy Bridge CPU. I have DZ68BC & i7-3770 and i tested it my self even tho the board manual only states two displays will be used which only apply's to 2nd gen CPUs.
The Board also supports PCI-E gen 3 even tho its stated to be gen 2 all this is possible by using 3rd gen CPU
The Board has DVI-I, HDMI & Display Port
BUT CAUTION the Board is riddled with BIOS ISSUES There is no BIOS FIXED BIOS yet any BIOS from 0035, 0036, 0037 & 0039 have issues, unfortunately you need any of those to be able to run 3rd gen CPU.
