I recently got a the intel DG43RK chipset for my quad core q6600 processor..............The problem is that when increase the host frequency in performance tab of the bios, the system will not boot.........clearing the CMOS and resseting the bios solves the problems, however there aren't many tweaking options for processor overclocking in the BIOS. I have even updated itto the latest version but there seems to be no progress.............

It really REALLY isn't an overclocking board in the slightest!

Intel doesn't recommend over clocking any of the internal components (memory, video or CPU) and there is no warranty support for that practice.

If you are using memory out of specifications on your system, it will decrease the lifetime of the processor and it could damage it.
