Precise Mechanical Dimensions for NUC DC3217IYE Enclosure

I have searched extensively for the mechanical dimensions of the NUC DC3217IYE Enclosure and the mounting holes that are used to attach it to the VESA mounting plate. Why a nice neat mechanical drawing of the case and the mounting hole locations isn't included in the technical specification is beyond me.

Thank you for posting.

The following article may help:

http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-034467.htm Intel NUC Boards and Kits; VESA* mount information

If you are a chassis designer I recommend you taking a look to this other one:

Hi Joe,

Thank you for your response.

I saw this information when I was reviewing previous posts but it doesn't define the location of the mounting holes in the Intel provided NUC enclosures. I am a chassis designer under NDA and have received detailed models of the bare board systems. I have done my own takeoffs for the NUC Kits that we use that include an enclosure. I would prefer to work from factory provided dimensional drawings which should be included in the detailed technical documentation for the products and isn't.

Please alert the NUC product manager to this oversight so that it can be corrected.
