RAID Rebuilding

My RAID 5 volume is degraded because one of the drives failed. I replaced with a new drive, but rebuild didn't start automatically. How do I rebuild the volume? The Storage Console shows 2 RAID drives and one missing drive. The new drive is listed as non-RAID. Using Intel Storage Console to "create a RAID volume from existing HD" doesn't work, and "creating a RAID volume" would erase all data

Background: My OS is WinXP Pro. I have Intel RAID Controller ICH8R/DO/DH SATA RAID Controller. The new drive is larger than the others, but I don't care if not all of it is used.

Can someone PLEASE help me?_rebuild
