RAM problem

I have an i3-2120-3.3Ghz processor with mb intel dh61cr supposed to support 16GB ram but only recognizes 12GB. It was running ok with 8GB (2 x 4GB) then upgraded to 12 and ok but  lately installed the second 8GB DDR3 and only sees 12GB.  Have 2 x 8GB ddr3, one is 1333 bus and the other is 1600bus. Seems there are no updates for my hw. What can I do?

Run ok Windows Memory Diagnostic, no probs. Swap both DIMM's, still the same. BIOS shows 12GB.

One thread is enough.  Stay with your other thread:

It is what it is.  You need only one thread, NOT THREE.
