TPM

Hello;

I assembled the parts for a desktop computer(2015) and used the Intel MB, BOXDH77KC.

The PC is sufficient for my needs into the foreseeable future, BUT, is there a TPM header on this board?  If not, what would my options be if I would like to install Windows 11???

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks, I was pretty sure that was the case but I wanted to find some corroboration of my conclusion.  I guess I'll stick with Windows 10 for a while.

There is no provision for a TPM on this board. Further, it only hosts 3rd gen Core processors. You need at least a TPM 2.0 and an 8th gen Core processor in order to run Windows 11 in a fully-supported state. While you can finagle it to run on older hardware, Microsoft has categorically stated that you will be running in an unsupported state - which means receiving no updates of any kind (the killer being no security updates).

Sorry, best to stick with Windows 10.
