I have turned the 4 CPU fan hold-downs on a Intel FC-4GA4 CPU assembly, so they are now loose, but they still hold the fan down -- it only lifts up about 8 mm, but which I think means that the heatsink compound is not holding it down. Please can anyone advise how to lift the fan assembly off, so that I can replace the CPU?
