This pin is missing in my Z87 LGA1150 motherboard, need technical information about it.

This pin (below picture) is missing in my Z87 (asus maximus vi formula) motherboard. I did some research and find out it was a VSS pin (although still need a technical confirmation). From what i heard "motherboards can function without a VSS pin but only if it is bridged to other ground pins." I'm not 100% sure if this is a VSS pin or if it's bridged to other grounds?

I need to be make sure this motherboard can still function with a proper cpu. So i need techinal informations on this matter. Here is the picture:

That would be great to be make sure this motherboard can still work without this pin. Thanks for any technical help!

I believe only ASUS can tell you if THEIR board will work without that pin.

I would contact ASUS support for clarification.
