This pin (below picture) is missing in my Z87 (asus maximus vi formula) motherboard. I did some research and find out it was a VSS pin (although still need a technical confirmation). From what i heard "motherboards can function without a VSS pin but only if it is bridged to other ground pins." I'm not 100% sure if this is a VSS pin or if it's bridged to other grounds?
I need to be make sure this motherboard can still function with a proper cpu. So i need techinal informations on this matter. Here is the picture:

I just wanted to confirm the information posted above, in this case, since the board was manufactured by ASUS, the best thing to do in order to get the information you are looking for will be to get in contact directly with them.
