I have a motherboard DZ77GA-70K that came with a Wifi and Bluetooth module. Everything was working fine on Windows 8 and suddenly the module is not recognized by windows and windows acts like I'm pluggin in and out a usb device.
Sometimes windows recognizes the device but after a few seconds - sometimes even before installing the drivers - it seems to be disconnected and then reconnected.
I had no other choice but to disconnect the module.
I wonder if it is the case for a warranty replacement.
Did anyone have any similar issue with that?
Thanks in advance,
The issue you are experiencing seems to be related to a driver issue.
We like to inform you that Intel(R) is currently working on new drivers for the Bluetooth module for Windows 8* for the DZ77GA-70K. We will forward your inquiry for future consideration and please check our website for daily updates:

just some extra info, if you goto the device manager and change the driver, you can choose, update driver, browse, let me pick, clear the compatible hardware checkbox, scroll down to MicroStar (MSI) and select the "MSI Bluetooth Device" I installed this and got the adapter to work, I didn't have issue described above, but I was not able to install any devices with the first one or the motorola from the intel site, however this one worked for a foxl bt speaker... could Intel please replace the dongle with an updated bluetooth/wifi chipset 4.0 from broadcom? They are the best and I would buy it. Thanks!
Hi, I have the same problem... Everytime I start my computer, my bluetooth doesn't start. I have to uninstall the Motorolla bluetooth driver and reinstall it using the Motherboard driver disk. And now the bluetooth logo appear in my lower right corner but when I try to add a new device, it never appear in the dialog box, even if I try with other devices.
When I finally, got my bluetooth headset pair, it allways disconnect after like 20sec and reconnect after 10 sec and disconnect after 20 sec... You see my point.
Do you have any ideas how to solve this issue, because I can't use my mic since I update to windows 8 and it begin to get me furstrated.
Look in Device Manager under Networks and confirm that the adapter is RALINK. If it is, then go to the RALINK web site (now called Mediatek) and download the latest driver. I am running version 18.104.22.168 and it works for both W7 and W8.

Currently we are working to provide a driver for the Bluetooth portion that is compatible with this operating system. I recommend you to keep checking for newer driver releases for the motherboard.
