Hhmmm, what kind of driver are you talking about. The version number you gave is for Windows itself, not a driver.
First of all, don't use the Intel Driver Update Utility; let's just say: it has problems.
The latest chipset software (INF update) for the G41 chipset can be downloaded from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20018/INF-Update-Utility-Primarily-for-Intel-6-5-4-3-900-S... Download INF Update Utility for Intel® 6, 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets. Install this first.
The latest available graphics driver for the G41 chipset and Windows 7 32-bit can be downloaded from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22165/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-Driver-Windows-7-Wi... Download Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver.
Hope this helps,
...S

- In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, click "Save All Information" -> Save the file DxDiag.txt

Thanks for your help guys. The issue is now resolved. I downloaded a freeware driver checker/updater.
It found and updated 7 Intel drivers and all is well now.
