I am trying to use the onboard Consumer InfraRed interfaces on my DH67GD mainboard. I have connected a Vishay TSOP4838 (http://www.vishay.com/ppg?82459) receiver to the input header, enabled CIR in the BIOS and installed the Nuvoton driver (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19631/Nuvoton-Consumer-Infrared-CIR-Driver-for-Windows-7-) for my Windows 7 Pro x64 OS. This allows me to control my PC with a standard Windows RC6 remote control, however, it does not work to wake up the PC.
I have also wired up two 3.5 mm jacks to the emitter output header as shown on slide 13 of http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/b/9/5b97017b-e28a-4bae-ba48-174cf47d23cd/med001_wh06.ppt. However, when I plug a standard emitter pair (https://www.marmitek.com/en/operate/infrared-extenders/ir-eye-2/) into either of the emitter jacks, the emitters are permanently on.
I would like the emitters to echo the CIR input. How can I achieve this?
