Wake On LAN not working anymore on 5599 BIOS update - DX58SO

Hi guys,

After recently updating a very old firmware on my BIOS (the last version dated from 2010), I am now unable to wake my computer up on LAN. So I though the option was automatically disabled during the update process, then I checked the options in the BIOS settings and everything was like it was before. Wake On LAN is enabled under the BIOS settings, but it doesn't work at all.

My question is, is this a known issue? And also, if there's no fix for now, can I downgrade to a workable version?

Thanks!

Dave

Please bear in mind that this product will be reaching its End of Interactive Support at the end of June,2013 so Intel will no longer provide interactive support for this product via telephone, chat or e-mail, and no further drivers or BIOS updates would be released. For more information please check this article:

In this case, you may need to use an older version of the BIOS if you are having Wake on LAN issues.

Previous BIOS and drivers are posted at:

Still, be sure that I will forward this information for any further consideration.
