Hello Sumit420, thanks for joining the Intel community.
Please let me have the following information from your system:
Sumit420, if you install the old memory Ram, are you able to access Windows?
Sumit420, the reason why the system is not working with the new memory is because the processor supports DDR3 1066/1333 MHz
The memory you are trying to use supports 1600MHz. So it is not compatible with the processor. It is required to use the correct memory type when using our processors otherwise the warranty won't cover the product.
You may need to change the RAM, but try to use the correct memory speed on the system.
You can also try to update the BIOS of the board. I would recommend you checking this link https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+DH55PJ https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+DH55PJ
It will provide you the list of BIOS and drivers available for your motherboard. According to your comments the current BIOS version on the board is 0037, you can try to install a newer version.
I would like to tell you that going straight to the latest version shouldn't be a problem, technically speaking. However based on experience, there is always chance. So I suggest you installing a few versions before updating to the latest version 0048.
I have the same issue with this motherboard, is the same procesador (intel i3 530) try to upgrade the RAM with a kingston KVR13N9S8/4 and windows its not booting (shuts down on after windows logo), the RAM module is 1333 and nothing, i have update the BIOS to the latest and still the problem persist, any ideas!? Please help
Let me ask you the following:
Did you try one RAM at a time on each of the DIMMs?
Do you have enough power supply, or maybe you can try a higher wattage power supply?
Do you know by any chance if this RAM is low profile or high density RAM?
I´ve try the RAM in both slots and boths works fine with the previous module, dont know about the power supply (not my expertise), the ram i asume is a low profile because its very small
but in the sheet especifications, says (1.425V ~1.575V) same as my previous RAM module
How many GB of RAM did you use with the previous module and how many GB are you installing with the new ones?
Please take a look to the RAM configuration and the tested memories for this motherboard at:
If the old RAMs are working fine and the new ones are not, then most likely it could be a compatibility issue.
