Dear all,
I use DN2800MT as a motherboard in medical devices.
My PSU is a 12V 5A with a 2.5mm jack.
On some boards, there is a kind of bad contact on the plug: if you move a little bit the cable, the device switches off.
It is like the inner diameter of the plug is less than 2.5mm.
Has someone already encountered this issue?
Thanks for your help.
Nicolas.

I have not seen this issue before but how many boards do you have? Were these boards working fine before or it has been like this since the beginning? Are you using the original AC adapter?

Dear Kevin,
Thank you very much for your answer.
We sold about 300 devices with DN2800MT motherboard and about 10 have this problem.
We met this issue a few months ago.
We do not use recommended PSU (HP AC ADAPTER ADP-135FB B 100-240V~2.4A 50-60HZ) since you can choose the plug. I do not believe the problem comes from power it is realy a bad contact. If you move the cable, the device switches off. I tried:
- this PSU on another "good" board, there is no problem
- to change the PSU and the problem is still the same.
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
Nicolas.

I see. So it seems to be a defective Power Port in the motherboard. The Best way to diagnose compatibility issues or hardware problems is testing known working components from other devices into the defective one.
You should contact the place of purchase or our support center to get these units checked:
