dvi resolution on DH87RL board

Jump to solution

I'm considering buying a new DH87RL microATX board. I noticed that it says in the manual that for DVI "The maximum supported resolution is 1900 x 1200 @ 60Hz." Does anyone know if this DVI port would output standard HD 1920x1080? (I know that the board outputs higher resolution hdmi and dp.) This would be running windows 7 if it matters. 1900x1200 sounds a bit odd since single link DVI can go to 1920x1200 (WUXGA). Single link can also handle 1920x1080, I thought. Thanks!

Fredko, this motherboard supports the following resolutions when using the DVI port.

800 x 600

1024 x 768

1280 x 1024

1920 x 1080

When using a resolution lower than 1024 x 768 it is possible that some elements do not fit on the screen.
