my laptop is dying so i am building a replacement. i bought a Intel DQ67SW board. there is light on the motherboard when plugged in. but when i hook up the case panel and flip power switch nothing happens. I am wondering if i missed something. is there a quick way to diagnose the problem or a quick trick to find out what is wrong. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There is no quick trick or fix. It could be the power supply, the processor (you did have a processor installed, right?), memory, or a bad board (despite what the seller says).
Return the board for a refund.
