I had taken out the CMOS battery from the motherboard, and when I restarted the computer and opened up chrome to connect to the internet, it said that "network adapter has not been installed"
My motherboard is an Intel G41. Chipset Revision: A3, Southbridge model 82801GB, Southbridge revision: A1, BIOS version: WVG4110H.86A.0007.2010.0302.1843
Can anyone help me on this matter? Where do I download drivers for Windows 7 64 bit?
Thanks again all!
The DG41WV board utilized a Realtek LAN solution. Here's a link to the latest available driver for that board: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18628/LAN-Realtek-PCIe-Gigabit-LAN-Driver Download LAN: Realtek* PCIe Gigabit LAN Driver.
Also, you are running on a very old BIOS (version 7). I recommend that you upgrade to the latest available. Here's a link to the latest version (version 18): https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21330/BIOS-Update-WVG4110H-86A- Download BIOS Update [WVG4110H.86A]
Thats very outdated Realtek driver on Intel site (had problems with drivers of that times), better get driver from Realtek itself:
