Getting 2FA (Verification code) even when I am not trying to access/login to DevCloud

Problem description: DevCloud (Edge) is sending out the 6 digit verification code even when I am not trying to log in to DevCloud

The suspicion is that this is due to the  browser being overactive. Like, when you are typing a URL into the address string, you can see traffic on the web server because the browser is accessing the partial URL that you typed. It is trying to preload the pages or refresh cached assets or suggest autocomplete from links on the page.  And the browser is trying to do its preemptive access thing triggering the access code to email address registered.
