On 3/6/2022 I completed the courses that the system directed me to complete for the certification. As part of the final step I clicked through to the portal to pay for the certification and did so. The payment is still in pending status, no communication from Intel regarding the transaction and no indication other than my payment method showing that the transaction is pending. If I am missing something please let me know.
