DevCloud GPUs

Hi,

I am using intel devcloud for GPU offloading test.  I used the following command to see available nodes

pbsnodes | grep "properties =" | awk '{print $3}' | sort | uniq -c

   22 core,tgl,i9-11900kb,ram32gb,netgbe,gpu,gen11
     78 xeon,cfl,e-2176g,ram64gb,net1gbe,gpu,gen9
      4 xeon,clx,ram192gb,net1gbe,batch,extended,fpga,stratix10,fpga_runtime
      6 xeon,icx,gold6348,ramgb,netgbe,jupyter,batch
      4 xeon,icx,plat8380,ram2tb,net1gbe,batch
      3 xeon,skl,gold6128,ram192gb,net1gbe,fpga_runtime,fpga,agilex
     12 xeon,skl,gold6128,ram192gb,net1gbe,fpga_runtime,fpga,arria10
     79 xeon,skl,gold6128,ram192gb,net1gbe,jupyter,batch
     26 xeon,skl,gold6128,ram192gb,net1gbe,jupyter,batch,fpga_compile
     12 xeon,skl,ram384gb,net1gbe,renderkit
      2 xeon,spr,ram1024gb,netgbe,dnp50

Based on above, there are 22 gpu,gen11 and 78 gpu,gen9.  It looks to me these GPUs are Intel(R) UHD Graphics. Is that correct? Is there any way to run my code on latest intel discrete GPU such as Iris Xe Max and if so how to I specify that with "-l nodes" ?  For example, for generic gpu, I use qsub -l nodes=1:gpu:ppn=2.

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Intel Communities.

Yes you are right and Unfortunately Intel DevCloud currently has only Integrated GPUs, for getting a compute node with GPU you can refer to the guide https://devcloud.intel.com/oneapi/documentation/job-submission/#:~:text=How%20to%20submit,an%20interactive%20session.
