Error: Authentication server reported an error. Please check your input or try again later.

I'm a new user to devcloud. I'm able to ssh fine and access the oneAPI Jupyter notebooks fine. However, when I try to access any of the Edge tutorials (classification, object detection, etc) from this page https://devcloud.intel.com/edge/get_started/tutorials/ it asks me to provide the URL from the invitation email containing a "uuid" argument. When I paste the URL and Submit, it comes back with the "Error: Authentication server reported an error. Please check your input or try again later."

When I use the uuid URL directly, it works fine. I don't get any error and am taken to the "Intel DevCloud for oneAPI" Overview page.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Vijay,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

As going through your query, we could understand that you are trying to use Devcloud for edge tutorials and you are trying to access this tutorials using Devcloud login credentials( ie, URL obtained while registering for Devcloud account). Could you please confirm whether you are trying to use edge tutorials or oneAPI samples?

So, If you want to run the edge tutorials(Classification/Object detection), you have to register a separate account for Devcloud for edge.

Or, if you are looking for oneAPI devcloud samples/tutorials, you can access it from the below link: https://devcloud.intel.com/oneapi/get_started/

Here, you can access the Jupyter notebooks with the URL obtained while registering for Devcloud account.

Also, this forum is intended to handle only oneAPI Devcloud issues. So, if you have any issues related to Devcloud for edge, could you please post your query in Devcloud for edge forum.

Thanks for the Chithra! That makes sense to me now. I did not realize Edge needed separate registration. It was a little confusing since I thought I was registered for everything under DevCloud. I will go ahead and register for Edge and try again.

HI Vijay,

Thanks for the response. As suggested earlier, registering devcloud for edge account will solve your issue. Since, this forum is intended to handle only oneAPI devcloud issues, please post devcloud for edge issues in the link provided. We would discontinue monitoring this thread. Please feel free to raise a new thread if you have any issues.

Chithra
