Failed to find a OpenCL device

I'm trying to access 'INTEL_FPGA_OCL_PLATFORM_NAME=Intel(R) FPGA SDK for OpenCL(TM)' on devcloud (logged onto s001-139 and s005-003, the two Arria 10 OpenCL releases available at the time), and got the same error:

Initializing IDs
failed to find a OpenCL device

Does anyone know what this means?

Hi z24tao,

May I know how you connect to the those nodes and which command you run to get the error?

Follow the link for Devcloud Access Instructions:

https://github.com/intel/FPGA-Devcloud/tree/master/main/Devcloud_Access_Instructions#devcloud-access-instructions

Use the recommended connection method which is Windows with Mobaxterm (SSH client)

Thanks.

Hey aikeu,

The problem appears to have gone away later that day, it showed up again later but only for a few hours, I don't have a stable way of reproducing it, is there any way I can close this post?

Sorry for the troubles!

Best,

Derek
