Ongoing issues with Intel Developer Cloud for the Edge

Issue 1: Login issues with Intel Basic account

Description

Occasionally, users may encounter error ‘504 Gateway Time-out’ after the login page for Intel Basic account.

Workaround

Close your browser and try to login again.

 

Issue 2: Registration/Re-Enrollment issue

Description

Users may encounter error ‘We are experiencing difficulties processing your request’. This is related to the ongoing maintenance with Container Playground. Additionally, you may not receive an email confirmation.

Workaround

The bare metal account should be created, please try to launch your server using this link: notebooks.edge.devcloud.intel.com

 

Issue 3: Grafana Dashboard

Description

Users may encounter an issue when accessing their Grafana dashboard for the first time. We are currently investigating this issue.

Workaround

Close the Grafana dashboard and resubmit the job. Once the job has completed, launch the Grafana dashboard again.

 

Issue 4: Kernel error

Description

Users may encounter error ‘The kernel for reference sample appears to have died. It will restart automatically.’

Workaround

Keep your current window open until the kernel restarts and completely initializes.
