Staff at IntelOneAPI:
As of 9/9/2022, according to my reading of the getting started documentation, the /opt/intel/inteloneapi/ directory is used to obtain the setvars.sh file. However, the entire
/opt/intel/inteloneapi directory is missing, form '/opt/intel/'.
According to my inspection with 'ls'.
Yes, there appears to be only directories for openvino. Can you suggest a new source now for 'setvars.sh' ? The basic problem is the instructions found in getting started cannot be used.
Here is the document I am reading:
==========================
https://devcloud.intel.com/oneapi/get_started/baseToolkitSamples/
I would like to do this:
================
Create the Job Scripts
Create a build.sh script with the following contents.
#!/bin/bash
source /opt/intel/inteloneapi/setvars.sh
make clean
make all
But the entire directory for inteloneapi is missing according to the 'ls' command
============================================================
/opt/intel$ ls
intel_sdp_products.db openvino_2020.3.356 openvino_2021.4.752 openvino_2022.1.0.643 openvino-lts
mediasdk openvino_2021 openvino_2022 openvino_fpga_2020.3.356

Hi,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities. Could you please let us know which DevCloud you're using? Is it DevCloud for oneAPI/Edge/FPGA?
And do you have setvars.sh in this path "/opt/intel/oneapi"? If yes, please try below command and see if you're able to source setvars.
source /opt/intel/oneapi/setvars.sh

Alekhya

Hello Alekhya,
In the interest of just getting some code working, I have transitioned to a simpler prepared approach for oneAPI, which is to use the Jupyter notebooks.
I may want to return to my question of using the Console windows at a later time, but for now, the notebook approach at https://jupyter.oneapi.devcloud.intel.com is available. I am getting results there. Thank you for your reply, Tom Cubbins.

Hi,
Thanks for confirmation. As you're able to use DevCloud via Jupyter Notebooks, can we discontinue monitoring this thread?

Hello Alekhya,
Thank you for contacting me. I think you can close my question at this time.
I have access to the oneAPI, by using the, https://devcloud.intel.com/oneapi/get_started/ page. With details, at the bottom of the get_started page, I am using a link to start a Jupyter notebook. Within my Jupyter notebook, I use the command, File/New/Terminal, to reach a Linux prompt. After gaining, this Linux prompt I have access to the setvar.sh file in the subdirectory /opt/intel/inteloneapi/.
These steps have allowed me to gain access to the oneAPI software which I requested earlier in my question. Please close my question.
