Hi,
When I try to run
job_id = !qsub person_detect_job.sh -d . -l nodes=1:tank-870:i5-6500te:intel-ncs2 -F "intel/person-detection-retail-0013/FP16/person-detection-retail-0013.xml MYRIAD resources/transportation.mp4 bin/queue_param/transportation.npy results/transportation/VPU 5 0.8" -N vpu_core
It fails with the below error:
Can not init Myriad device: NC_ERROR" with MYRIAD
I tried running from the sample file people counter system from the sample applications provided here https://devcloud.intel.com/edge/advanced/sample_applications/ I still get the same error.

Same issue (and I suspect same project).
I also see occasionally:
E: [ncAPI] [ 690560] [python3] ncDeviceOpen:734 global mutex initialization failed

I changed the nodes to
nodes=idc004nc2:intel-ncs2
and it works intermittently. However the root cause and resolution will need to be fixed at devcloud end.

Yes, it seems the NCS2 node run-times are just flat out broken right now.
