is it possable run mission in background?

I'm using devcloud for the edge, I want to know if it is possible that run my mission in the background.

i know if i close the browser, the server will shout down soon, but if i submit a mission use qsub like:

qsub -l nodes=1:ram4gb -q workbench -d . mymission.sh

 i want know if i close my browser after i submit it, will the mission stop soon as the server shutdown or it could run until reach the max walltime.

Yes, once submitted the job will continue for as long as the allotted time you have remaining. The results will show in your filesystem/storage.
