qstat: Error (15137 - could not connect to trqauthd)

I have been using the DevCloud service for a while and this is the first time I encounter this problem:

$ qstat
socket_connect_unix failed: 15137
socket_connect_unix failed: 15137
socket_connect_unix failed: 15137
qstat: cannot connect to server (null) (errno=15137) could not connect to trqauthd
qstat: Error (15137 - could not connect to trqauthd)
$ /usr/local/bin/qstat
socket_connect_unix failed: 15137
socket_connect_unix failed: 15137
socket_connect_unix failed: 15137
qstat: cannot connect to server (null) (errno=15137) could not connect to trqauthd
qstat: Error (15137 - could not connect to trqauthd)

 

How do I solve this?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Are you able to run other commands in DevCloud (For example qsub, qdel etc)? 

We were able to use the qstat command without any error.


If you are still facing this issue please share your DevCloud userid, we will contact the DevCloud admin team.

I was not able to use qsub command either.

A couple of hours after I had the issue for the first time I tried to connect to the server but got a Gateway timeout message. I assumed that something was being rebooted on your end. The next day (yesterday), I didn't find the issue, but I am seeing it again just now.

Thanks for the update.

We didn't observe these issues from our end.

DevCloud will be under maintenance for the next 2 days. Could you please let us know whether these issues still persists after maintenance (from monday onwards).

I just now encountered the issue again.

Over the last week, I did not have any issues. I even used it this morning and everything was fine until just now.

What can I do to avoid this issue?
