I am using the Intel Distribution for Python with Anaconda to work on deep learning problems and I am truly impressed by the gains in productivity over the standard Anaconda download. However, one issue concerns me a great deal. The latest version of Jupyter available in the Intel channel Is 5.2.2. This is an outdated version with several known issues. I often have difficulty reading Jupiter notebooks made with a more recent version of Jupyter. Does Intel have plans to update Jupyter? Doing so will make a good product, great.

Hello,
Because we did not have performance improvements for packages in the Jupyter suite, we no longer will be publishing new jupyter packages to the Intel channel on anaconda.org. Instead, you should have no trouble installing the latest jupyter from the defaults channel. If you find there is a problem using jupyter from defaults, please let us know.
Best, Todd
