Is it mandatory to use a powered USB hub for Movidius NCS when using on PYNQ Z2?

I have tried installing NCSDK on PYNQ Z2 without using powered USB hub. But it is not installing. Should i mandatory use powered USB?

Hello KSP00,

 

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

 

We have not tested this board with the Intel® Neural Compute Stick (NCS). However, in general, if the USB port can provide enough power (500 mah) a powered USB Hub is not required.
