Is there a way to build the SDK from source so I can use my NCStick on a non-RPI ARM platform, like one of the 96boards.org boards (Snapdragon, Ultra96, HiKey, etc). Thanks!

Just work through the install scripts and install all the dependencies yourself and you may be able to get it up and running
