Hi everyone,

I've developed some models with OpenVINO 2021.4,

I want to deploy them on a small board with the following criteria,

  • Support OpenVINO more recent versions
  • At least 2.5 GHz
  • At least 4 Cores
  • Have a small dimension

But i dnt know which board I should buy, I've checked the UP core Plus and UP core xtreme and other and I dnt know which one could perfectly fit with latest openvino version ?
Could anyone recommend me a good one ASAP ^^

Hi Aya-Nasser,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can use Intel® Vision Accelerator Design With Intel® Movidius™ Vision Processing Unit (VPU) which utilizes specialized processors designed to deliver high-performance machine vision at ultra-low power.

The recommended hardware for Intel® Vision Accelerator Design with up to 8 Intel® Movidius™ VPUs are available in Intel Vision Accelerator Design subsection under the Suppliers tab in the link above.

Before you purchase your board, we recommend you check whether all the layers of your models are supported by OpenVINO plugins. The supported layers for OpenVINO plugins are mentioned here.

We also recommend you check with the individual vendors regarding the supportability of your models on their boards.

Regards,

Hairul

Thank you for the fast reply, @Hairul_Intel
But now I've developed the code on CPU,

If I buy this board ( VPU) does this mean I'll develop my code and optimize my models all over again to fit the VPU ?,

Aren't there anyother CPU (with the above criteria sepcially the small dimension) that I could deploy what I've already done on ?

Hi Aya-Nasser,

If you buy Intel® Vision Accelerator Design With Intel® Movidius™ VPU boards, you might have to create custom layers for the unsupported layers.

On the other hand, you can go for Intel® NUC Kits or Intel® NUC Mini PCsPlease ensure that the specifications of the Intel® NUC Kits or Intel® NUC Mini PCs meet OpenVINO System Requirements.
