Porting with RealSense SDK on device L515

Hi,

Our team want to develop a new feature with device L515 on Car OS platform.

In order to get rgb & depth frame data from the device,

1. whether must use realsense sdk ? is there any driver side patches to apply?

2.  can we just follow v4l2 video backend, to develop our own v4l2 client ?

3. as this feature will be commercial, it will be much better to get help from intel technical department. who can we communicate with?

thanks a lot.

Hi Bernie528,

Is there a specific software package from Edge Software Hub that you are trying to port the Intel RealSense Camera? For an accurate answer, I recommend asking your question on the Intel RealSense Support page: Support – Intel® RealSense™ Depth and Tracking Cameras (intelrealsense.com)

Regards,

Jesus
