Hello,
I am using EN5322QI.
It inputs 5V and outputs 3.3V.
During the evaluation, the 3.3V output stopped.
At this time, the device was hot.
The status of the device is as follows.
There is a short circuit between the VOUT terminal and GND.
(Approximately 0.16 ohms. Normal products are approximately 297 ohms)
In the past evaluation, the HiCUP operation was repeated many times at the limit with the inrush current.
Will the device deteriorate if the HiCUP operation is repeated?
What are the possible causes for the output to stop?
best Regards
Goto

Hello @M_Goto ,
Looks like the device was working under current stress condition for long time .
Basically this condition will reduce the part life cycle.
So if the load current higher than 2A (which is the DC rated current of EN5322) then its better to use another suitable one.
I would recommend to swap to EN5339 if you are using the VFB setting which pin to pin compatible under the VFB setting.
Regards,
Mostafa
