EP5358LUA 100OHM resistor between PVIN and AVIN

According to the datasheet, there is no requirements to put a 100OHM resistor between AVIN and PVIN but it appears in the evaluation board schematic. what is the purpose of this resistor?

is there a recommendation to put a capacitor on AVIN input in case a resistor is placed?

Hello @AlexS ,

That 100R is used to add a delay to AVIN to improve the power on sequencing and avoid the UVLO if the PVIN is noisy.

I would recommend to add that RC filter for AVIN as <100R between PVIN and AVIN and  4.7uF between AVIN and GND if you expecting the input voltage is noisy.
