Is there a downside to using UBGA-672 over FBGA-896 on a board, in terms of heat / speed, etc.?

For our project we have selected a Cyclone V which is available as UBGA-672 and as FBGA-896 package. The UBGA-672 is little cheaper and, above all, smaller. Are the FPGAs different from the internal architecture and are there disadvantages in using UBGA-672?

Hi

The UBGA and FBGA are all packages not the die version. Kindly find the detailed document for your review. So all the internal architecture will be similar depends upon the part no:
