This part requires working with SmartVID.

I wanted to know:

  1. Can I use this FPGA but not work with the smartVID protocol. What would be the effects on the FPGA performance, timings?
  2. We intend to power it with LTM4677 from Linear/Analog Devices. Do you know of another part that can be used for smartVID but doesn’t have an Inner EEPROM.

Thanks

>>The smart VID feature is for power reduction technique . So can assume there is little impact on the timings.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Where can I find more information on the smartVID?

What does the smartVID require? the I2C bus connected to a supported component?

Does the evaluation board work with smartVID? Can I cancel it in the EVB?

Another question: I'm looking for the stratix10 q jc/q jb when working in 180Watts. Can you help?

Thanks

Noam
