Arria 10 Device Installation Failing for Quartus Prime Standard Edition V22.1 on Windows 10 Pro

Hi Altera community,

I'm currently experiencing issues with the installation of the Arria 10 device on the Quartus Standard edition V22.1, and I'm seeking some guidance to resolve this problem. I have tried both installing the complete package (Quartus-22.1std.0.915-windows-complete.tar) and installing the Arria 10 device package (part 1/2/3 for Quartus Std V22.1), but when I create a new project and look for Arria 10 to choose as target device, I still can’t find it.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Best regards, Yasmine

Hi Yasmine,

Seem there is no device package for Arria 10 from your scenario.

Have you verified that the arria10.qdz is downloaded and in the same path?

Please double check it.

Hi SyafieqS,

Thank you for your response. I appreciate it!

I have downloaded the arria10.qdz package and verified that the path is correct (same path of the Quartus install file). However, after installing the package (using the Quartus device installer), I encountered a problem as the device doesn't seem to exist in Quartus.

I have checked my installation several times, and everything seems to have installed without any errors.

Hi Yasmine,

Since this issue is resolved due to license which you need to validate it, you may use 16.0 as temp workaround.

Let me know if there is any other concern.
